Really nice boots, stamped made in England inside, hopefully made in Northampton as advertised. These dealers are very well made with good strong leather in that lovely old fashioned light tan colour (almost yellowy)like the loakes, I took a bit of a punt on These boots as not seeing them in the flesh, but they arrived in perfect condition! Size wise I will say there definitely on the slightly large side, I'm a size 8 in a boot and ordered an 8 they fit nice for me with a little bit of room in them for a thicker sock. I also chose these because I was going to buy a pair of loakes until I heard a lot of them are now made in India (except the 1888 last)so I didn't fancy paying £295 and taking that chance. Anyway I'm really pleased with these dealers they are the same as the pictures. Hopefully my boots for life now as I will get them re soled in hopefully years to come, one thing I have to say is I've not yet warn them outside.
